Whenever a networker starts off their presentation with a story, they will immediately engage prospects. Prospects want to find out how the story ends just as any of us would. Many times, if the story is told using words that convey sounds and colors, the prospect will even imagine themselves in the story.

Stories about what is going on in the prospects local area are also very powerful. A networker can begin a story with statements such as “While I was”, “When I was”, “As I was”, etc. Then, they can discuss what they found interesting about the local area of interest.

The bottom line is that stories keep mlm business leads engaged and not bored. If one doesn’t have a story, they can simply use someone else’s.

Hot Technique #2-Top 10 Lists

Top ten lists always create curiosity. People love to follow current trends and usually get behind popular ideas. A top ten list brings other people’s opinions and ideas into it and not just the networker’s are very effective.

For instance, if a networker has done their homework and has research statistics, they can start off their top 10 list by saying something like, “Based on the research we did from the top 1,000 responses to our weight loss survey, the top 10 reasons people can’t lose weight are”.. . . This just adds credibility to the top 10 list.

Here are examples of top ten list statements for your mlm business leads:

-The top ten reasons your boss doesn’t want you to quit your job.

-The top ten reasons why coffee grown in the blue Jamaican hills is better for you than those grown in Kenya.

-The top ten reasons ways to start a business and keep it running three years from now.

-The top ten things you can do to reduce your taxes right now.

-The top ten ways to lose weight without eating differently.

-The top ten reasons to eat donuts to keep your waistline thin.

-The top ten things you can do with the extra money you will earn from your business opportunity.

-The top ten ways to get fit without ever joining a gym.

-The top ten things places you should visit before you die.

As these examples show, a networker can create a top ten list from anything. A mlm business lead will love top 10 lists because they are getting factual information and know they won’t become bored with long presentations.

If a networker uses these two hot techniques as well as many others that Tom Schreiter and Mark Davis cover, they will never have any difficulty keeping a mlm business lead leaning forward!

You wouldn’t think it but one of the foundations of home based business success is to be thankful of other people and to be helpful to them. The only way you can get to the top is by yourself and the leverage of others. Thanking them along the way is only right and being helpful to others is only natural.

Actually SHOWING that you care about someone else is one of the fastest ways to achieve home business success.

Coinciding with being thankful, there is being helpful to others. There’s someone new starting out everywhere, and once you reached a certain level of success or knowledge… you should start spreading that around. After all, someone has helped you along the way and maybe you could be that for someone else.

Ways of helping others without costing you a lot of time is to join social media networks and answering questions, writing helpful articles that aren’t intend to sell anything, and finding someone on their way up and just extending a hand of welcome. Most successful home based business entrepreneurs take the time to answer the questions of others and share their knowledge via forums, articles, etc…

By helping people, this doesn’t mean you should let them take advantage of you. You still have to maintain your own business and personal life. So set aside time each week to help and keep to the time you allotted.

I am really interested in finding an online opportunity where i can work from home and earn a resonable income. Incomeathome.com is a website where for only about $9.95, you can initially dip your feet into their funnel.  They’ll give you a bunch of good information about building a home business and if you stay with them, you’ll spend about $50 your first month.  Once you are firmly into the Incomeathome.com business, you’ll be introduced to a business called Carbon Copy Pro.Carbon Copy Pro is a very effective funnel into a much more expensive MLM.

Carbon Copy Pro is the brainchild of Jay Kubassek who is one of the “Guru” marketers online.  He has built a huge business teaching people to replicate his efforts online to bring them into his funnel.  Jay Kubassek’s program will cost you a whole bunch more money, and you will learn much more about marketing on the internet, but throughout those learning and marketing efforts, you will be mainly enhancing the Carbon Copy Pro brand and the image of Jay Kubassek.  If successful with Carbon Copy Pro, you will make money, but again, you’ll be making money branding someone else.

Finally, the main product for the people that start out with Incomeathome.com.  The Carbon Copy Pro system will lead you into a MLM called Wealthmasters.  This is a solid program that provides education, seminars and tips on investing and other financial advice.  It is a solid program that was very popular years ago, but during these recessionary times, the cost will make it very tough to sell for most people.  The Wealthmasters business has different tiers that culminate in massive expenditures. The recommendations from Wealthmasters will encourage you to buy the best value of their courses which will cost $20,750.

Now I must point out that Wealthmasters is a solid company that has provided many people with valuable advice, but selling a $20,000 product to people that originally spent $9.95 is kind of a stretch.

The most important aspect of this review is in the whole “branding” issue.  The fact that thousands of people brand Jay Kubassek rather than learning how to brand themselves online is a major weakness in this system.  Truly successful home business owners and online marketers learn to brand themselves or they create a brand that they market themselves.  If people join Carbon Copy Pro (via incomeathome.com) they will not be building a business that is portable to other opportunities once they discover that Wealthmasters is just to spendy to sell today.

It was once popular to work until the age of 65 and collect a company pension to compensate your social security.  Today unless you work for the State, City, Federal Government, one of the original once regulated government utilities or an established collective bargaining union pensions are no more.  They have been replaced with what is called a 401K, which you contribute to from your payroll income and in most cases receive a partial company contribution.  You can also contribute to an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), for the self employed this is called a SEP. This is all the result of the Federal Government cease of backing your money by gold and turning it into a currency backed by only the faith of the federal government.  On top of this your social security which is your government forced retirement savings is at jeopardy of not being available as the baby boomers are reaching retirement age and cashing in.  I am not a believer that the Federal Government will actually renege on payment of your Social Security. I could be wrong, but I am of the opinion that the federal government will be more inclined to simply print more money, thereby adding to the currency.  The result will be inflation, the retired poor and the next extreme recession.  Even those fortunate enough to still have a pension, will find it difficult to afford themselves a decent standard of living. 

The solution is to establish a passive income, and one way to do it is through building a Network Marketing Business of your own part time, and growing it over time until you establish a residual income, a livable wage or become wealthy.  I would suggest the efforts that lead to the latter of the three.  There are other methods for passive income, the most known is possibly real estate, but that still requires a substantial investment and self learning of the business.  Most investors who earn passive incomes from real estate already have wealth. It is very difficult to become a real estate mogul with low budget investments. The money producing properties are expensive. There is also the law of compound interest.  Compounding interest investments take many years to surface into a true passive income and today finding those 12 to 16 percent returns are near impossible.

A Network Marketing Business can be started with a very minimum investment, and avail you with all of the learning materials and individual assistance to make start up turnkey and the process automated.  While most venues of developing a livable passive income can take decades with a Network Marketing business it can be down within a few years.
